Time to start swimming again

COVID Project.jpeg

Yesterday I decided I’d start going for a swim again.

Similar to 100 Days, which kind of just happened, the aim is to do it everyday, one day at a time. The slight difference this time is that I have a notional target in mind. It’s a moving one and who knows how long I’ll keep it up.

The idea is to do it until this ‘lockdown’ is over.

What defines ‘lockdown’? I’m not quite sure yet. Realistically the effect of COVID-19 will stick around for a quite a while but on the day that China reported no more domestic cases there is certainly cause for hope.

At the very least it will be a good way for me to get fit and stay sane.

If you fancy ‘joining me’, whether that’s restarting yoga, going for a walk or doing some other physical activity, however low impact, fantastic! I would encourage you to take the odd photo, have fun with it (yes!) and share with others. Positive encouragement from friends is a good way of motivating you to keep going - everyday, one day at a time - and who knows, you might nudge them to do the same.

I’m using a simple HONOR 20 lite smartphone, an old HERO4 Session Go Pro and Snapseed for the odd bit of editing.

Not sure what I might call this ‘project’ but let’s see what comes.
