Positive addictions
2nd of September last year I started going for longer walks, taking photos as I go. I had no real plan, just the longing for ritual.
I might explain later what drew me to this, but for now, I’ve been at it for 135 days, missing only two or three because of longer travel.
It all of a sudden turned into running a few months back, roughly 5km, unless I get lost and it ends up being more.
Photos have turned out becoming of the seasons…
…various times of day…
…and from different parts of the world.
I also started documenting smaller things that just grab me…
…the wear and tear of my shoes…
…places I’d go by regularly…
…and my face, which I’ll share another time. ;)
Who knows how long I’ll keep it up. A year would be nice. Forever would be great. No real plan.
When I do find the moment to wrap a bow around it, I may pick those images that I feel best capture the journey and share them.
For now I thought I’d just publish a few here, more for the discipline of “putting it out there” than anything else.
A positive addiction, fuelled by a book an old friend recommended.
Onwards.
